Eastward · United States to Gulf
US companies entering the Gulf.
Partnerships with regional operators, licensing arrangements, commercial contracts, local manufacturing and the sequencing of a market entry. For a company with a proven product at home, the region is often a customer before it is a market: procurement is concentrated and buying cycles are long.
The fund is built to treat that entry as part of the investment rather than a service sold after the round — the licence, the first local hire and the first contract put in an order that actually works. What that order is differs by sector: a dual-use product and a healthcare product do not enter the same way, and neither enters the way software does.
The test is whether the region makes the company harder to displace. If entry would only add a second set of overheads, the honest answer is not yet.
