Portfolio Support
Capital + Capability.
A cheque is the start of the relationship, not the whole of it. Where it is useful, ITQAN can introduce a portfolio company to operating partners where a specific gap is identified — so that the work a team cannot do in-house costs less time, and less of the round.
The model
An introduction, not an obligation.
ITQAN may connect a portfolio company with operating partners across product and engineering, talent, design, legal and structuring, go-to-market and regional setup. The introduction is made when a specific gap is identified, and not before.
Nothing about it is a requirement. Companies choose their own suppliers, negotiate their own terms, and are free to ignore every name they are given. An introduction is an introduction — the commercial relationship, if there is one, belongs to the company.
No operating partner is named on this site. Any roster published here will list only firms that have confirmed the relationship in writing.
Capabilities
Six areas of support.
Each area below describes a gap that comes up often in early technical companies, and the kind of help an introduction is meant to close. None of it is automatic. The introduction is made where a specific gap is identified, and what happens after that is the company’s decision.
Product & Engineering
Additional build capacity when the roadmap is further ahead than the team. Where a specific gap is identified — a firmware layer nobody in-house has shipped, a data pipeline that has to be rebuilt before the next customer, an integration holding up a pilot — the fund can introduce engineering groups that have done that particular work before. The intent is to keep a milestone on its date while the permanent hire is still being made, not to put the product in someone else's hands.
Talent
Hiring support in both markets, including the first senior roles a founder gets wrong most often: the first commercial lead, the first engineering manager, the first person on the ground in a second country. Recruiting across two jurisdictions is slower than most teams plan for — different compensation norms, different notice periods, different assumptions about relocation. Where that is the gap, the introduction is to people who search in that specific market and that specific function; the decision stays with the company.
Design
Interface, brand system and the materials a customer or a diligence team reads first. Deep technology companies often carry a product that works and a presentation that undersells it, which costs real money in enterprise procurement and again in a round. Where that gap is identified, the fund can introduce design groups whose work is technical products rather than consumer brands.
Legal & Structuring
Counsel for entity formation, cross-border structure and commercial agreements. A company operating in both the United States and the Gulf accumulates questions that no single adviser answers well — where the parent sits, how intellectual property moves between entities, what a regional licence actually obliges the company to do. ITQAN is not an adviser of record and does not act as one; it can point a founder at professionals who have built that structure before, and the engagement belongs to the company.
Go-to-Market
Positioning, pricing and early pipeline in a market the team has not sold into before. A first attempt in a new geography usually fails on the commercial layer rather than the product: the wrong buyer inside the organisation, the wrong contract shape, a price set for a different procurement culture. Where that is the identified gap, the introduction is to people who have carried a number in that market rather than advised on it from outside.
Regional Setup
Licensing, banking and physical presence when a company opens in the Gulf or in the United States. The sequence matters more than any individual step — an account that cannot open until a licence is issued, a licence that cannot be issued until premises exist — and taking the steps in the wrong order costs months rather than weeks. Where a company is at that stage, the fund can shorten the time it takes to find the right questions and the right professionals.
Why it matters
Runway is a function of execution.
Two things decide how far an early round goes: what a company spends, and how quickly that spend turns into evidence. Execution support addresses both. Work that would otherwise wait on a hire can start sooner. Work that would otherwise be learned from first principles can be handed to people who have done it before.
The effect compounds in the other direction too. A quarter lost to recruiting, to an entity that took four months to open, or to a market entry that began with the wrong pricing is a quarter of runway spent without a milestone to show for it.
The point is not to run the company. Founders run the company. The point is to close the specific gaps that turn a three-month plan into a nine-month one.
Operating partners
Named only once confirmed.
A roster is of no use to a founder if the names on it have not agreed to be there. Nothing is published until the relationship is confirmed and permission to publish it is given in writing.
Capital, and what sits behind it.
The same logic runs through how the fund is built across two markets.
