Mastery · Precision · Excellence
The Fund
ITQAN invests where American technical depth meets demand for capability in the UAE and MENA. The thesis is narrow on purpose: ten strategic technology areas, companies with a commercial buyer, founders who can operate across markets, and a specific reason the corridor makes the company stronger.
ITQAN is early in its journey, but highly capable, strategically connected and focused on exceptional opportunities.
The name
Itqan — Arabic for mastery, precision and excellence: doing a thing properly, and completely.
The Corridor
The corridor is the center of the fund's strategy. The United States brings capital, and the innovation, technology and companies building it. The UAE and MENA bring capital, customers and government relationships, and a market in which to deploy that technology and expand across the region. ITQAN works where those flows meet.
Beyond Capital
Portfolio companies have access to ITQAN's network, partners and operating resources on both sides of the corridor. An introduction is made against a gap the team has named, so work it cannot do in-house costs less time, and less of the round.
Partners
Mo Ghani and Michael Zajas lead ITQAN Investment Fund, working between Dubai and Scottsdale, Arizona. Around them, the fund draws on an investment committee, advisors and venture partners.

For Founders
Send us the company. The application goes straight to the investment team. Founders who are not yet a fit receive structured feedback on gaps and next steps.
Submitting does not create a confidential relationship. An NDA is signed before deep-dive diligence begins.
Philanthropy
A portion of the management team's carried interest — the managers' share of investment gains — is donated to the foundation. The commitment is written into how the fund is structured, not attached to it once the fund is running.
